Re: I MISS GOOD CARTOONS
Wed, July 8, 2009 - 7:59 PMSome may have started in the 70's but I remember still watching some in the 80's. I never watched them all like alot of kids I knew. And then I stopped watching for the most part when I was around 16. But before that I used to come home from school and some faves were Felix The Cat. Speed Racer. Other shows that werent cartoons too. Like Gilligans Island. I was totally into tv growing up. Saturdays there was Penelope Pitstop and The Banana Splits. The Munsters. Scooby Doo. One of my favorite shows back then was the Hardy Boys / Nancy Drew. Frank and Joe? They were so cute. -

The Lone Ranger
And I think this was more of an after school show: The Electric Company
We are now officially, Retro!
When I had my oldest, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles were big, and I liked them. -

Re: I MISS GOOD CARTOONS
Fri, July 10, 2009 - 6:44 PMI dont.
I remember thinking the smurfs were totally gay and that my friend Patrick was a total fag for watching them and collecting smurfs all over his room. And he was gay. He was the first guy I ever blew. lol ( And many times. ) But it was interesting to watch for me because Christians were always talking about occultism in music and cartoons and all sorts of things. I was always interested in looking for the things they were talking about. Espescially in Disney things. Subliminal sexual things too. But I never saw the occult and the sex as bad things at all. To me it makes everything more exciting. Takes the bland and boring and spices it up into something great. -
